Silk is a particularly delicate fibre. It is sensitive to sunlight and the heat it generates. This curtain is therefore fitted with a lining to protect and preserve the quality of the fabric. This lining also significantly reduces the amount of light entering the room, providing a blackout effect.
This sophisticated design is equally suited to private spaces (bedrooms) and reception areas (living and dining rooms).
For windows less than 120 cm wide, we recommend installing one curtain per window. For windows wider than this and up to 280 cm, we recommend installing two curtains per window.
Made from three metres of fabric for a 1.5-metre curtain head, this curtain has a lovely fullness and attractive pleating at the top with its box pleats. To ensure it fits your windows, you can shorten this design at the hem. You can also lengthen it by nearly 20 cm via the hem. We recommend allowing an extra 20 cm in height to ensure it drapes nicely onto the floor.
Fitted with tiebacks, this design is very easy to hang. You’ll need 10 rings per curtain; simply tie a double knot in each one and slide them onto your curtain rod.
This curtain can also be used to close off a walk-in wardrobe, cover a door or divide spaces within a room.
